Mr. Martin graduated from Lamar University in 1983, and received his law degree from the University Of Houston School Of Law in 1986. He is admitted to practice law in all Texas courts and before the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.
After graduating from Law School, Shawn began representing personal injury victims and their families, which remained his primary practice throughout his career, successfully resolving thousands of claims on behalf of his clients. His practice focuses on representing personal injury victims and their families in all types of automobile, 18 wheeler, motorcycle, bicycle or pedestrian accidents, including collisions caused by DWI and hit and run drivers. He also represents people injured in falls and other accidents on private, business or government property, and victims of workplace injuries.
A native of Southeast Texas, Mr. Martin and his family moved to Austin in 1999, where he and his wife are active volunteers for local civic and charitable organizations.
